2006 Palmaz Vineyards Riesling

The cooler weather of 2006 contributed to the citrus-like character of this wine. Even after a few years of cellaring, this vintage is youthful and refreshing. The aromas include Honey Crisp apples and orange blossoms, uplifted toward the end with a refreshing dash of lime zest. The slight presence of residual sugar help this wine to tame the heat of chilies, making this vintage an excellent companion for pan-Asian flavors such as green curries and aromatic chili-garlic sauces.
