Palmaz Wins Gold at the IBPA Benjamin Franklin Awards

THE HONOR OF BEING nominated for the IBPA Benjamin Franklin award was enough to send us into a state of bliss.  Christian and Florencia travelled to Salt Lake City on Friday to attend the 28th Annual Benjamin Franklin Awards knowing they were amongst the finest. The IBPA, or Independent Book Publishers Association, along with almost 200 book publishing professionals varying from publishers to bookstore owners, administer the Benjamin Franklin Awards.

The event is a ceremonious gala over the course of an evening celebrating the past year’s selected winners and acknowledges quality titles of both large and small publishers and the execution of the final product. Knowing the varying entries, we were astounded that “At the Table and Around the Fire” had won Gold for the Cookbook category.

With the time and energy from our exquisite team putting their efforts into our newly released book set, the idea of having a the Gold from such an honorable award is indescribable. We are looking forward to sharing the anthology of the cooking and entertaining with wine and food enthusiasts alike. Our Cookbook shares the technical wine-and-food pairings, casual lunches and barbecues, as well as formal dining. “At the Table and Around the Fire” is a feast to nourish the mind, the soul… and the appetite, and we are so thankful for the recognition it received.
