Once the wine opens up, currants, smoky oak and bold tannins round out a luscious mid-palate. Patience is key for the 2019 vintage, revealing more complexity as it opens up in the glass. The wine’s long finish leaves a hint of toasted caramel on the good-bye. A Cabernet braised steak or grilled tomahawk would be a perfect companion to this bold beauty. We anticipate the wine to age elegantly through 2030.
